I’ve been doing this for quite a while now, since emerging from Harrow Art College with a Distinction in Illustration in the late ‘70s. I worked extensively in publishing and advertising for several years before I discovered the world of animation.

Since then I have worked as a background artist and art director on a huge number of projects for film and TV. My core strengths are the clear interpretation of a brief and the ability to work in a very wide range of styles. These days my work is nearly all digital, although in animation every job calls for a different approach.
